There’s nothing worse than ten new Grand Theft Auto V screenshots to make the wait until September all the more gruelling. It’s pretty much all we’re going to get from Rockstar for a while considering they are keeping pretty tight lipped regarding Grand Theft Auto V, in fact when was the last time Rockstar Games wasn’t so secretive.
It’s been ages since we’ve heard anything about Grand Theft Auto V so we might as well take a look back at the press release to remind us what exactly we’re excited about.
Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V is the largest and most ambitious title in the series to date. Set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding area, Grand Theft Auto V delivers a world of unprecedented scale and detail bursting with life, from mountaintops to the depths of the ocean.
“Grand Theft Auto V builds on everything we’ve learned about open world game design,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We can’t wait to share it with fans.”
The PlayStation 4 and upcoming Xbox are all the rage at the moment, no word yet from Rockstar Games but as it currently stands, Grand Theft Auto V is coming out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. No PC version in the works either, I’d love to tell you it will happen eventually but that wasn’t the case with Red Dead Redemption so who knows.
