It’s a slow day for news so I randomly hit up RockStar’s Facebook page and found some brand new Grand Theft Auto V screenshots. I’m not really one to do posts sorely focused on new screenshots but I know everyone out there is super hyped about anything surrounding the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U is “doomed” news and Grand Theft Auto V.
Grand Theft Auto V is the stupidly hyped “fifth” entry in the long running GTA series which debuted back in 1997. Damn, it only feels like just yesterday when I was playing the top down Grand Theft Auto on the original PlayStation listening to this super dope track.
Traditionally the GTA series has mechanically speaking been awful for a long time, the games are a lot of fun and I can obviously see the appeal but I bet there’s a picture of a Grand Theft Auto game next to the word “clunky” in the dictionary.
For Grand Theft Auto V the team at RockStar North are working hard to make sure the series finally lives up to it’s true potential. The most exciting change is that the shooting mechanics are now lifted straight from Max Payne 3, add in improved car physics that no longer feel like you’re driving on ice like Grand Theft Auto IV and we could be seeing something really special here.
If you’re still pissed off over the lack of PC version then you’re more than welcome to sign the petition to get RockStar’s attention. There’s over 285, 857 signatures at the time of writing so fans are truly being vocal about how they feel.
